Franco earned the Ancient Code Hacker badge for his unbeatable puzzle-solving skills and for remembering key details long after the game had ended.

Franco was not only unbeatable at the code-breaking challenges during the adventure, that was already an expectation towards him. However , he also went above and beyond in the post-adventure writing task. I had asked the students to write a letter to their grandma, telling her all about their trip to London.

What really impressed me — and earned Franco this badge — was the way he vividly described and cheekily bragged about his victory to his grandma. He even remembered and mentioned the Rosetta Stone by name, which is no small feat, considering that the class had played the game a full week earlier.

His sharp memory, creativity, and enthusiasm truly made him stand out. I was very proud of him.
